What Is Your View on Salvation?

Salvation to Orthodox Christians involves accepting the redeeming work that Christ accomplished on our behalf. Christ died for our sins so we must respond to this greatest of gifts wholeheartedly and with the utmost gratitude.

EDUCATION
Educates and enriches school-aged children, the parish community, visitors, catechumens and inquirers with the Orthodox faith. Integrates teens into parish life.

Mission Statement
The Holy Trinity Orthodox School exists: To provide an Orthodox education for the youth of the church in a safe and secure environment, interacting with adults and each other and learning to live an Orthodox life; to provide a sense of belonging for our youth by integrating them into the life of the parish family; to provide a system of service to others; and to provide continuing Orthodox education for its instructors through lesson preparations.

Church School: Holy Trinity Orthodox Church is working hard to equip its young people to face life as Orthodox Christians. Through its Church School, HTOC provides a sense of belonging by integrating its youth into the life of the parish. The young people also do service projects and learn how to interact with adults and their peers while learning to live life according to an Orthodox worldview.

OUTREACH
Promotes Orthodoxy in the greater community by meeting social, physical and spiritual needs and by participating in acts of charity. Makes available resources for the congregation and visitors. Archives the spiritual life of the parish.

Christians are to be examples of Christ's love to all. In Acts 1:8, Jesus told his disciples, "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witness to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." Holy Trinity Orthodox Church has at the heart of its Outreach Ministry to provide opportunities to be a witness for Christ's love "to the ends of the earth." By providing education through the Bookstore and Library, coordinating activities with other Orthodox parishes and service projects, like serving food monthly at St. Mary's of Egypt Food Kitchen, HTOC furthers Christ's love to those who need to feel it.
