Welcome to Holy Trinity

Welcome to our website! Holy Trinity Church, is located in Overland Park, KS and is part of the Orthodox Church in America and in the Diocese of the Midwest. As our members have remarked about their own experience, we think you, too, will discover our church to be warm and inviting, and an excellent place to deepen your relationship with Jesus Christ and His Holy Church. Visitors unfamiliar with the Orthodox style of worship will benefit from reading Frequently Asked Questions. If you visit, be sure to browse our bookstore which has an extensive selection of books and icons. If you have any questions or need more information, please do not hesitate to call the church (913) 681-6948 or send us an email.

October 23 The Holy Apostle James, the Brother of the Lord

Come, O godly-minded people, let us honor the memory of the brother of God in a holy manner! Taking up the yoke of Christ with zeal, he showed himself to be a preacher of the goodness of His Gospel and His Kingdom. He persuades us of His ineffable providence. Therefore, grant us purification through him, O almighty One!

The proclamation of your words has resounded to all the ends of the earth. By them we are enlightened in all types of godly virtue and are guided by faith to knowledge of the Holy Trinity. Therefore, we beseech you, as a bishop, pray to Jesus that He may save our souls as the Lover of mankind!

Link to Symphony of Witnesses

May 25th, 2016

Fr. Tim has a website called “The Symphony of Witnesses” for you to visit during the time of his Sabbatical (5/21-9/20). This site will provide a page for one of the Saints of the day (including audio), and also reflections during his time away.

It is our hope in providing this website that you will truly “get to know the Saints.” Their stories should help us as we journey through the struggles of life.
